Thats my problem you see, im on £5.73 now, ive gone up to that(i think, so ive been told) when i hit 18, which is a decent wage for an 18 year old, but i just dont get the hours, and the worry the company is going tits up

Exactly, my brother worked there and he got decent money for it. It was hard work and he often finished late, but its a living, and money.
Will be more work then what i do now, but ill get more money, and at least be given a uniform.
Only be until end of September next year when i hope to have an apprenticeship.

I wont do, i dont really like the stuff. Cant eat Mc Ds before i cycle either, gives me bad stomach cramp, and it will be a ride uphill all the way home.
Burger King, i can eat alot of, ride an hour later and still be fine.
Strange isnt it!

Joe... you are right... those on the front line know the issues, those up above don't/won't listen.

Believe you me, doesn't matter what job you are in, or pay scale, if you are active with the 'front line produce' (be it gadgets, clothes, burgers or people/students) you know the problems, those back in the 'centre' haven't got a clue, nor will listen...

My wife had a 'redundancy notice' delivered today -they wrote the letter a week ago..... but didn't post till yesterday..... arrives just on the day she goes to a big school re-union party.... bit of a sh!ter but she was shooed out of the house at about 11 to 'chill' for the day at a hotel, before tonight's party.... don't know when she's coming home, but it won't be before 3 pm tomorrow - I'm taking little miss to a Scalextric party...hard work this
