Bought the new Pink Floyd album ....think its pretty good ...great to hear Dave Gilmour doing new stuff ...any Floyd fans on here? What do you think?

It's not really new stuff though. It's material that was recorded in the same sessions as "Division Bell" wasn't it. But all the same looking forward to hearing it. Shame it's going to be the last under the name Pink Floyd.

Yeah your right it sounds like its from that time and theres pics of Richard Wright in the sleeve notes from that time also some talking bits from Stephen Hawking ....its good though i likes it

I do love Spotify...I had seen the Guardian review about the album being mostly 'extra' material that didn't make the 'Division Bell' album and was reticent to purchase it straight away, now after reading this have found it's on there now..so on with the hi-fi to give it a go.

Saw the Wall Show a couple of years back... One of the best live concerts I have ever seen. Over the top in every way you could imagine. Really assaulted the senses. Amazing stuff.

I am lucky enough to be working on the battersea redevelopment. I am going to have fun with pig shaped balloons in the coming years

I saw Pink Floyd live in the late 60's.
Sadly, due to certain reasons, I don't remember it...

I shall give the new album a listen though.

I saw the first showing at Earls Court and the very last ever show recently at Wembley. Fabulous stuff. The original at the time was absolutely mind-blowing for a young lad from Exeter .....

DSOTM is sublime, but Meddle, WYWH, Animals, The Wall, The Division Bell all get plenty of play.
