Looking at a second hand (I mean "pre-cherished" of course) frame to build up Chorus - it's that time of the year. Bit of selling of current stable will partially fund - move to more quality, less quantity.
Narrowed it down to a Pinarello or a Colnalgo, seeing as I can't find a Ciocc for love or money, the latter being limited anyway.
Got to be steel. Carbon fork is OK, but would actually prefer steel.
Found a Master X-Lite and a nice Columbus Pinny. What to do...
Never ridden a Colly, and only a couple of Pinnys, one of which was Al anyway. Are Collys a victory of paint jobs over frame quality? Word seems to be that Collys are about a size too small so you have to go up from your usual measurement?
Any thoughts from the wise?
