I signed up for Pinterest a while ago, possibly stupidly, but now am unpinterested.
There appears to be no 'settings' options on the page, or way to cease being a 'member'.
I've blocked the emails, but any image I have on my laptop has a 'Pinterest' tag on it.

Any way to dump it completely please?

To permanently close your account:

1. Log in to Pinterest
2. Click your name at the top of Pinterest
3. On your profile, go to the gear icon then settings
4. Click Deactivate Account at the bottom of Account Basics
5. Click Permanently close my account at the bottom of the options
6. Confirm that you want to close your account
7. In the confirmation email click Yes, close account to confirm the closure.
8. Permanently close account means that you won’t be able to get your Pins or boards back.

Delete all your boards first. Then there will be nothing behind the account to return to.
