Pitted rims

This week I lleft cleang my bike after the Sunday run, on salty roads, until tonight. I've noticed the rear wheel rim (mavick aksiums) is pitted, from what I asume is the salt that I left on them for four days.
Is there anyway of getting rid of them, or do I just live with it. And learn to clean as soon as I get home?

Next time you go out, your brakes will remove those marks. ie don't worry about them.

Solvol Autosol and plenty of elbow grease, If you can build wheels it is easier to strip the wheel and then put it back together.

I wondered about this, thanks. If it doesn't work I'll try the autosol - thanks both
