Blackberry - otherwise known as electronic tags. You have to be disciplined with them, don't be tempted to check into them when you're out of work (unless on call obviously) as you might see something that ruins your holiday or time off.
I don't take mine on holiday - very dangerous.

They're not called Crackberrys for nothing.

Last year I got to hand out leaflets around Norwich for a shop I worked at....que me exploring all the back streets that I hadn't been down, while talking to some girl from Debenhams who was meant to be doing the same thing for an hour

I was lucky in my previous employment to work in a lot of different places, mainly famous venues such as the Royal Festival and Albert Halls, the beautiful Gaiety Theatre and Guiness brewery in Dublin to name but a few.

Blackberry's have an off - press and hold the power......

Work stuff stays away from holidays...been there when folk get your 'personal phone' number....usually crap questions that could be answered...... stupid'est one was when in a butterfly farm in Stratford upon Avon....ring..ring.... "oh where is the TV ariel"...WTF do I know....... (world cup time)....sod off............

I can only just take my normal phone on holiday now - 2/3 number changes.... was banned by the wife..... I no longer take work on holiday....it will wait........

Mine blackberry goes on at start of work, and off when I go home.....oh, and it's always on silent...... simple. Plenty of saddo's at work using there phones at 11pm.....

I use if for keeping up with emails at other sites when I can't login to a PC....great for that......

My Android phone is much better, only family know, and it does emails. text, and all sorts of rubbish......

I was early to a meeting on another site today so, blackberry on, catch up with emails, then android on, log in here, and check personal emails...sorted..........

Once while i was on call, i took a phone call from a customer while watching the Manics at Wolves Civic, having consumed about eight pints before the show started.

Think i might have claimed overtime for it aswell.......

I was just very very lucky. It was due to
the people that I met and worked with who taught me everything, that I got on.

Well beyond my own expectations. There is hope for those outside of the education syatem.
You need confidence and an optimistic view of life. Good luck helps.

It is who you know and not what you know that matters.

Value other people and yourself.

It is then you may play the system . MMM... Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool with the director's secretary.... working.
MMM... Motel outside of Maidstone with my Admin assistant... working.

When I first moved to Devon my job allowed me to work from a clifftop in Croyde and the beach in Budleigh Salterton. Team meetings took place in a bar in Barnstable.

Prior to that I was lucky enough to have a job that involved meetings in the Waterloo Block at the Tower of London, the bowels of the HMS Belfast, the top of the Tate Modern, a floating office on Tower Bridge Pier and best of all, the top of Tower Bridge.

My current job is a bit pants
