Match . com are offering free membership until Jan 1st.
My pal Wendy met her chap via one of the big dating sites. She says that there are some scammers on there i.e they get to know you a bit and suddenly need £5k for medical bills/bail etc but anyone with a brain won't pay out and will move on to another match.

Uncle Google suggests that it is based in Prague and specialises in Czech Brides. In that case I would have thought you were better with a UK site, where your chances of genuine encounters are rather higher.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'm no munter, think Alan Titchmarsh, only younger!, I went on Match and POF threw up zilch< waste of money, I probably failed in the 'describe yourself' box. So Planet Romance came along , which got me thinking , you get what you pay for in this life.

Warrabout an advert in the local paper(s) or website? Lots of people do that, they aren't all tarts looking for customers, and you aren't going to be trucking half way across the country to find out. If Planet Romance find you someone you like, but 200 miles away, that doesn't really get you much further forward.
