Planning a trip - how do you decide daily miles?

How are the panniers, Summerdays? Have you worked them out yet? Took me a while to work them out Pretty though, aren't they?

Possibly next week sometime if I can get organised - panniers arrived yesterday... haven't looked at trains or accommodation yet (planning isn't my speciality). Not on the Sunday night though ... they seem to be forecasting lots of rain - an inch overnight!!!

Yes but term doesn't finish until Friday ... and I'm not ready yet, and the grandparents need to be available to come down and look after the little darlings.

Maybe you should get the Grand Parents on standby and keep an eye on the weather ? that way you could make a quick decision and just book everything up over the internet ?
