Yes, I see, but Noodley's avatar has lost its snow. ;)

Or was it a different "sort" of injury?

Dave changed my post to read "Faked an injury" rather than "Picked up an injury"

And let's just say it a lower abdominal injury.

 Even more commiserations then. I thought he meant "icy" ? and I missed the fact that he had altered your post. But apart from that ..

Don't tell me........ it was the old crossbar and knackers....... ?????

Thankfully no. Don't know what I did but it was fairly hilly early on with a full-on headwind and I thought I had got a stitch. So I dropped my pace for a while hoping that would help, which it didn't ;) After 40km I decided it was not going to get any better and I was holding the other guys up so I decided to turn for home. I took the longer flatter route home as I did not fancy the hills on the way back again as it looks like I have pulled a muscle just to the left side above my groin, which is a bit bloody sore when pedalling as every pedal stroke hurt. But not as sore as it was getting off my bike.

Hopefully it will sort itself out. I'll see what it's like tomorrow.
