Working even more overtime tomorrow morning, lazy afternoon watching the cycling, then a pub for tea. Biking on Sunday, it's the first Sportive of the year next week so I'll keep it easy.

Been intending to ride around Ely ending up at my Nana's house for for a fried egg sandwich. Although it's stupidly windy here at the moment so I might get blown into a dyke crossing the fen.
Otherwise it'll be the grand prix and Interprofessional Team Learning research.

Over to Manchester tomorrow to meet up with friends from my undergraduate days. Be extremely restrained with the alcohol intake and drive back home for a night's kip before doing an audax then celebrating my birthday when I get back from the audax.

A few beers tonight, then up at 5 to watch the Aussie GP qualifying. Band practice (possibly: if not, I'll be painting shed panels or doing the garden, or maybe playing with the car) while Ms RT goes camping in the Peak District with some friends. Then some mates are coming round and I'm cooking venison in red wine. Sunday ... up early for the GP, then more work in the garden.

That was excellent, elder Noodlette had a great time and is itching to get back next week despite her arms and legs aching. A very warm welcome was extended to both of us as soon as we arrived and continued all through the 2 hours. Very friendly and very helpful coaches, and 'others'.

It was great seeing so many kids enjoying themselves on a bike. So, well done to Discovery Junior Cycling Club in Dundee :becool:

Elder Noodlette took to it like a duck to water. And it was great that some of the kids were Scottish and British track medalists, and a few older youths were Olympic Development and Commonwealth Games riders who she had seen when we visited Manchester velodrome a few months ago - she's already talking about giving them a kicking! She's been telling me all day that she has a better flying lap time than I do! (not hard, since I've never ridden on the track ;))

The Chris Hoy Velodrome will be such a welcome addition to Scottish cycling...

Still recovering from jet lag and too much boozing at a guess...My sleep pattern has been all over the place...Also looks like the change in climate has affected me...Felt ill yesterday and have had terribly aching shoulders over the last few days.A bit of sleep has remedied this at a bit...Also felt very cold last night but then was too hot when I woke up.lol

Sunburn is clearing up as well.
