Plastic bag in shorts

Someone recommeded me to put a plastic bag in between my pants and shorts to keep out the wet.

Has anyone else tried this?

It will keep out the wet from outside, but you will get a sweaty arse i reckon.
I did once put plastic bags on my feet to keep the rain out, of my feet. yeh it worked for a while, it soon stopped and i had to take my shoes off to get the water out the bag.

I used to use bin bags in the summer like wearing them on top,not as nappies.Made me sweat a lot.

Why are you wearing pants and shorts? If you just wear the shorts, and as Keith has proposed carry the pants - problem over.

Putting your shorts in a bag will stop them getting wet, but you may experience some soreness

I suggest wearing your shorts (for the sake of everyone behind you), and getting wet.
