How long would you expect this to last.
We bought a set in lockdown, so 6 years old.
The frame is covered during winter, and cushion are always put away, but this year the plastic ribbon has noticeably deteriorated, we think it is sun bleaching which has affected the strength and stability of the furniture.
Is 6 years ok, considering we have looked after it well. It was a middle of the range product. Probably £1500.

We have some that must be 10 years old and have no signs of wear.

We have a couple of settees and chairs plus a table ..had them about 5 years. . The paint on the table top came off during this years jetwash😂...so I'll splash some fresh paint in it. Otherwise all good. Frames Left out all year, cushions in shed, south facing patio so sun on it every time we get some.

Our rattan L shaped set is made by Maze. The cushions are put in the garage in winter and when the weather isn’t so good but the rattan remains uncovered year round. It’s 8 years old now and still in great condition.
