Pleasantly surprised by premier Inn.

I'm not sure all hotels would be just so accommodating, but I could be wrong. I'm just glad the bike will be tucked up nice and safe when I'm out all day.

Premier inns and Travelodge in the UK almost always allow you to do this.

Most of the French, Belgian and Dutch hotel chains do too.

I've had bikes in many hotel rooms across the UK and Europe.from budget hotels to 5 star. Can't recall ever having an issue.

Good thing about many of the Premier Inn rooms is that there is space so the bike doesn't get in the way too much

I wasn't going to ask, but this premier Inn hasn't got its own car park so I felt I had little option. When I spoke to the boys on reception, they didn't bat an eye lid and also mentioned that there is some sort of store room out back that I could use if I felt it was taking up too much space in the room. Do you think the cleaner will give the bike the once over when their doing the room?

I would think most hotels would'nt mind at all having a bike in one of their rooms , unless it was really wed and muddy one

Wetherspoons hotels will generally allow bikes in the rooms.
We recently stayed at The Hop Pole in Tewkesbury and had our two touring bikes in the room with us.

I can't understand why so many of my colleagues slag off premier inn. I've stayed in one about 6 times and they've all been excellent. i think it's people just being snobby because they are a "budget" chain.

Well the others have been mentioned, so I'll just add that Best Western is another big hotel group which usually allows bikes in. Small hotels and B&Bs usually do if asked ahead and also often if not.
