No mention of wh/kg but maybe that is of lesser importance here.

How do they work? I will allow the clever electric engineers to explain the details as I don’t really know.

What I do know is that since my wife was seduced by the eco flow plug in system our electricity usage from the national grid has halved.

Our installation has 4 panels and 2 of the eco stream boxes that house a battery and inverter. The engineers seem to have thought about most things.

Should our house suffer a power cut then the battery switches off so the bi-directional plug is not live.
As an earlier poster pointed out - the power flows both ways. If you are using the electric grill then power is drawn from the mains. If you are using a modern low wattage TV then power is drawn from the battery.

Trial and error combined with ChatGpt has seen the installation of a clamp around the neutral wire near the fuse box and the use of the eco flow app to balance the system. Excess power is prevented from entering the national grid via a switch function in the app.

Washing machine, kettle, refrigerator and slow cooker all draw power from the batteries or solar panels.

Probably 3 years to recoup the investment. If unsure always consult a qualified electrician. Also check planning regarding the siting of panels - although promoted as balcony panels it is likely that landlords of flats with balconies prohibit their use.

I hope this helps.
