Do you have a header tank in the loft - the valve on that could be worn causing the pipes to bang, or indeed the valve on the toilet could be worn.

We had banging and vibration and it was the cold water header for the flush.

As per the title, my plumbing vibrates like a good'un when the cistern is filling up. Can be hard round the house and vibrates the kitchen sink even. Only food this when flushing. No other water is caused it.

Ideas?

Did you ever have a water tank in the loft you did away with, maybe when changing to a combi boiler?
