On matters press, an R.I.P. for William Rees-Mogg, ex editor of The Times, who died this weekend aged 84. One of a plethora of people - from Eric Sykes to Bob Holness, Jack Ashley and Victor Spinetti - that have passed from 'public' life this year.
Has anyone got a memorable piece of reporting in 2012 that they wish to share - I can think of a few things, but they would mostly be a bit dull...
