but I stick an hose in it, the hose locks in just like a valve does and I find it easier to operate it like that and less risk of damaging the valve, to get 160 psi as claimed would leave me with no energy to carry on the ride !

I notice the ones from Planet X say Presta valve only my definitely does Schrader as well, but you can always use a Schrader hose.

I paid for a Lezyne road drive mini and received the carbon version. A bit flashy being the only carbon thing I own after my forks but a good pump. Quite difficult towards the end but will get up to 100psi if not higher.
