Podcasts.... please help.

Hi,

have dusted of wifes i river mp3 player and got it all rigged up to my swanky new laptop. Fancy listening to some bbc podcasts but when i look at it it offers me all sorts of baffling options i tunes , zen cast, google toolbar.

i am assuming this is just a way of faciliytating my obtaining the podcast? and i can transfer it from there to my mp3 player?

Advice welcomed. The simpler the better for my simple mind pleae!

maybe not the best option (i'll let others decide), but downloading it from itunes, copying it from there to a folder on your laptop and thence to the iriver should work ok.
