Who on Earth thought "I want a good looking coupe, but I'll make it ugly by putting four doors on it, and I also want it to be an off roader, but with no actual off road ability"?

Would they want cancer medicine that didn't cure cancer, or a hiding that didn't play music...?

It's an expensive German car. What do you expect; taste and practicality?

Very like the Elio Motors three wheeler that sadly never quite reached production. Small, inexpensive, highly economical cars like this should be all over the shop, and it's bizarre that they're not.

Not massively different in concept to a modern snowmobile. So not all that impractical or pointless. Just not successful

Very quirky indeed. The German army and Luftwaffe used something not dissimilar called a Kettencrad.

Got a bit sidetracked by the history of the Snowmobile - a very practical vehicle indeed. The driving force behind this was a Canadian, Joseph-Armand Bombardier. His first proper working prototype was from 1935

I think the key thing that this has that the ones above lack are the steering skis (that modern snowmobiles also have).
