The guy that built that was planning to put it into production but was sued by the current DMC rights holder, I think a large parts supply company. The bloke lost and had to cough 20 or more large in legal costs.

I saw a jet powered trike at a car show in rhe summer. Alas, not being a habitual carrier of a mobile phone, I was not able to snap a pic. It had a V8 for road use, and the jet for off road use. Honest guv.

But why copy a sports car?

I don't get kit car replicas either apart from the AC cobra they are all naff! Better to design something from a clean sheet?
