Used in Michael Jackson's Moonwalker where he transforms from a Robot into the Car and drives to a club where he changes back into Michael Jackson and performs an extended version of Smooth Criminal.
Seriously no matter what you think of MJ, this film is bonkers and amazing (and has Joe Pesci as a bad guy).

Something like that happened in 2019 in Harrogate
Eight electric buses which, do to having pretty limited range, were to be topped up whilst unloading/loading at the bus station by pantograph.
However the electric supply was not ready so a generator was installed.
The electric supply was eventually installed but last year all eight were withdrawn due to knackered batteries which were integral to the design and could not replaced. One of them had only managed one mornings work since it failed in 2023.
The same buses are used by a Dublin hotel and Birmingham Airport but the frequency of charging is presumably somewhat less. The Harrogate ones needed topping up on most arrivals. There are newer ones at Kilmarnock which possibly have better batteries.
