You don't need to look at your phone continuously, it buzzes if there is something to look for.

Blooming strange it doesn't shut the screen off when you're travelling at speed or towards major roads though, isn't it? That splash-screen warning is really the minimum legal bum-covering.

If you aren't near the object it goes.. (or doesn't even appear on your phone). that means if you are travelling at speed you can't collect Pokemon as they don't appear and you have a very low chance of collecting more balls. It is best done at walking or slow cycling speeds.

Agreed. Though I do play on my Metro journeys, which is a handy way to top up at Pokestops as I go through at least 10.
