Poll: Would you prefer a Toblerone or a Twix?

As a diabetic with a sweet tooth I find this sort of thread distressing.

No contest. Twix is an expensive biscuit, whilst Toblerone is PROPER chocolate!

Just never buy one of the huge ones as a Christmas present for someone and then have to wrap a triangular shaped present...

it seems to be mandatory for people to buy them at airports. WHY?!

Because you wouldn't want to arrive home after a trip abroad, and announce "look children, see what I brought you? It's a huge ........ Twix ."

I like those massive twixes you get on the continent. They're bigger and not chocolate coated so you get a better (imnsho) biscuit:chocolate:caramel ratio. Having said that, you only get a single finger so technically it's not a twix, but a unix.

There's such a huge range of good chocolates in airports, why anyone would choose the Hersheys of Europe is beyond me - they're cheap for a reason! I went for Toblerone. Twixes are a more 'everyday' confection, whereas Toblerones are for special occasions, like airports, or meeting Swiss people.

I bet Swiss people don't even know what Toblerone is, the same way that Australian s have never heard of Rolf Harris.

I'm sure they had toblerone in Geneva airport but also about a million other brands I'd never heard of. And loads of Milka.

According to a bloke I was working alongside at Mondelez(Cadburys) in Bournville, they now own Toblerone, and they're made somewhere in Scandinavia.

When it comes to choc choc you can't beat Cadburys, Twirl, Caramel, or Bournville.
