Oh, forum rides - now you are talking; I don't mind chatting to** women on forum rides! Not that many women come on them. I think the one coming up at the end of March will be a record breaker in both the total number of riders and the number of women taking part. **NB 'chatting to' not 'chatting up'!

TBH - I still see my ex 4 or 5 times a week as 'just good friends' and I know that any new partner would not be happy with that continuing. We have been pals for 35 years and I am not prepared to give up on the friendship to try and start from scratch with someone else. It could happen one day but I am not going to go out and try to make it happen.

Crikey, didn't mean to cause offense about the non concrete sexuality bit. It's just that my best mate is a lesbian, bit wasn't 20 years ago. I've also met others who's sexual prefeences have changed over time.

A member of my family was married to a man but is now in a civil partnership with a woman. She didn't so much change her preferences as decide to be with someone who met 90% of her needs rather than someone else who only met 10%. (Ex hubby bowed out gracefully and is still one of her best mates.)

I understand it as polygyny (one man, multiple women) and polyandry (one woman, multiple men), both being forms of polygamy.

I am happy to travel. I used to live in West Yorkshire and I really like the area as well.
