While POBs (pedestrian on bike) are still common-ish, I have seen an alarming rise in the number of POORBs: Pedestrian On Old Road Bike.
Their difference from POBs is that:
* they are less likely to be young chavs, but are more likely to be old gits with beards in a tracksuit or cords, drug dealers, mad professors, pimps, politicians, washed up has-been 60s rock stars, crims - anybody really, but are always not only in non-cycling gear but very scruffy clothes
* They are riding a VERY old road bike with those weird old-skool 'safety' brake levers that extend to be reached from the tops, and are riding on the pavement. Handlebars are usually also clad in that white plastic stuff instead of bar tape.
