I like porridge, made with milk or water, deffo no salt though and no sugar but I don't eat it often. Fruit, raspberries, blueberries, raisins and banana with yoghurt and some soyflakes in for me.

Porridge every day for me. Little bit of sugar, plenty of milk.

I started my porridge eating when I found I had familial hypercholesterolemia... i.e. an inherited naturally sky-high cholesterol level (all my siblings have it too; funnily enough, there is no real record of dicky tickers in the family history...)... I take statins every day, and it's better than most people's now... but porridge is meant to be very good at helping to keep it low.

Porridge every morn, ride or no. I'll also have it for dinner too sometimes

Mine in the morn is made with soy milk or oat milk and mixed through it is a tube of soy yogurt and a handfull of sultanas. Some times I'll bake an apple and have that with cinnamon mixed in... yummmm

Sometimes I eat porridge, but it can make my legs feel heavy if I don't degest for a while before riding. Muller Rice is a nice alternative, and a bit easier to digest

it looks disgusting and i've never had the courage to put it in my mouth

I simply cannot believe that no one has yet chimed in with a "and the porridge?" line.

Like most people here porridge every morning, with a handful of dried mixed fruit. a pinch of crushed hazel nuts and a sprinkling of brown sugar. I am thinking of having a banana with it instead of the sugar, I tend to get a flat spot energy wise in the mid morning.
