Try as I might to think of another post to nominate, richp's majestic packet just keeps coming back to haunt me

If we are talking sickening imagery that haunts your soul.... isn't there someone a little closer to home to you that has tortured many with a single picture?

Alas, not this year though.

I was going to nominate Chuffy's classic YMCA, cheering up Longers post but it's over a year old:ohmy:. My, how time flies.

EDIT: just beaten to it by Baggy.

It was reposted for some reason in the summer... I remember because the sun was on my back when I was dry heaving in the office car park!

Some great suggestions, some of which we'd already selected, but we still are looking for a few more. Keep your thinking hats on!

 Glad it's not just me then.

Another nomination here for Gary Askwith's wonderful post about his son:

Mickle wrote probably the most memorable and touching post I've read here - the one about his friend Andy - but I won't link to it or nominate it officially as I don't think he'd want to win prizes for it. Not that there are any prizes...

Right, that's enough of the moving and sensible stuff. The keyboard-destroyer of the year for me, and a nice little counterpoint to RichP's Majestic Packet, has to be this. Not one for the detractors of the Wittgenstein Interruptor, for it is a testament to the comic potential of that device. For the full effect you need to bear in mind that it's addressed to Linf and occurs in the middle of a thread entitled "I Work for the Council". And it's a post from P&L that's actually about cycling!

Inspirational, heart warming, and describing me as such makes me look a little bit soppy.

There's a picture of me somewhere wearing nothing but rolled down black arm warmers and leg warmers, doing a star jump. It's known as the 5 of Spades but that one will remain in my sugar daddy's private collection:blush:

Is it me or has ShrinkingGaz's stuff been taken down? i cant seem to find his blog or view the vid.
I noticed that myself yesterday. He hasn't logged in to CycleChat for 11 days either. I hope he's okay...

Does anybody actually know Gaz in 'real life' and if so - how is he?

PS I've just found this thread on BikeRadar. Sounds like he is busy and still doing well, but he is going to be creating a different web presence in the New Year. It might have been better to keep the old site/blog going until then, rather than just turning it off, but it's his choice.
