posting a bike

Only trouble is he won't have a clue how to put it back together. I blame his parents. Whoops!

If so I'd suggest buying a cheapie second hand machine, especially if he's going to be locking it up on campus.

@glasgowcyclist or @Pat "5mph" may be able to offer suggestions. Is The Bike Shed still going? I got a nice steel roadie from them when I lived there.

Bike shed now Bike Station, moved to the posh west end with prices to match.
Others are available - we even have Decathlon now

Larry, have a look at Shiply.com.

I used it to send a motorbike from Guildford to Hull and got great service. You probably wont even have to box it.

If it's a carbon fibre frame be careful where you put the stamp. The adhesive will cause the material TO FAIL CATASTROPHICALLY WITHOUT WARNING.

I know that's true because I read in on the internet.
