Posts disappearing?

I've noticed that occasionally my posts (not threads) disappear ...

I don't mean the lewd, rude and outrageous posts (I know why they get taken down!

), I mean the innocuous ones! ("I like tea too", that kind of thing) Is there something up with the paraphernalia that puts new posts up? Or perhaps I sometimes click "preview post" instead of "post new topic" by mistake ...

I'm aware of a couple of your recent posts being removed (and of editing one too perhaps that was someone else) but I doubt anyone will have removed such innocuous things as a Tea? post.

Do you have any specific examples you can remember and I can check for you?

I just saw one disappear in the CTC call: Road raged cyclists needed thread advertising for cast members for a McDonalds advert. Mysterious, anti-capitalism, or just removal of inappropriate content?

Yeah, I posted one the other day about road closures and the council in commuting ... dunno what happened to that! There were no swear words in it, no references to bestiality and certainly no allusions to fornication of any description! It was a model post, a fine demonstration of modesty and virtue, indeed you could have read it out to a class of infants without causing a single eyebrow to be raised!
