Here's a nasty one on Upper Brook Street (A34). It's so deep you can see C19th cobbles!

The same could be said for more or less any route into Manchester(or big town atm), learn the potholes and use the road to keep safe....there's always new ones to lookout for.

That one on upper brook street is firmly implanted on my mind (luckily not my face), I zip past that about 4 times a week in the dark on the way back from club runs. There is another one preceeding that on the same side, then you need to get over to the inside as there is a big one on the outside shortly after. Then it is back out to avoid the door zone for about 0.2 mile!

There used to be a nasty big crack near the Stratstone showroom where the light's are on the way out of town too.

The hole (geddit) road there is a mess. I wil watch out for that tomorrow on my visit to town.

I've justheard on the grapevine that the potholes on Upper Brook street have been reported, but "do not justify repairing".
Fossy's right though, the road is just one giant patchwork quilt of repairs and potholes.

Stockport are at least 6 months behind repairing any reported pot holes..
They will do a temporary repair that crumbles again within 1 week. What a waste of money.
Eventually Stockport will just disappear down it's on hole, maybe that's the plan. .
