Pouffes

I thought that pouffes had to be round, not rectangular or square. A proper pouffe looks like this, but with bits of stuffing leaking out, surely?

I have a footstool- recently acquired in a sale, very different in style to the one in the OP. No storage options - good for resting the feet and also occasionally taken over by the cat.

Strange that. I rest my feet on the dog anyway.

We had one when I was a kid, but it got called the "poof-ay". We also had an ottoman, but that was oblong and lived on the landing outside the bathroom, and was used for keeping sheets in.

thats the same for me, except the ottoman was in parents bedroom. ( it still is actually) . the poofays went years ago after me and my brother used to jump onto them and land hard. the sides split
