Good day ladies & gentleman.
I’m thinking of purchasing a 4iiii power meter. I have ultegra crankset but the 105 crank arm with the 4iiii is cheaper & comparable with my set.
Would a few grams really make a difference to one side? Am I too OCD & anal to have a 105 left & ultegra right crank arm?
What would you guys do? Save money or match them up??

Thanks.

I'd match them as it would irritate me, but other than the cosmetics there is no reason to go for one over the other.

I had the exact same conundrum (Ultegra 8000 cranks, 4iiii meter). Ended up spending extra to satisfy my anal retentiveness.

(I then went and bought a 105 cassette but you’d have to go some to notice )

Might it make sense and vfm to buy the 105 4iii and its partner, replace the Ultegra and sell the latter crankset? Result is a 'matching' crankset and a reduced net outlay.

To save me posting a thread can I ask a question ?
Does the power meter just measure your watt output or does it do speed and cadence reading too ?

Power meters measure power and send a signal to a display unit using protocols like ANT+ and Bluetooth. Most do cadence as well. They don't do speed (how could they?).
