I ride and drive through there fairly regularly. In a car you get a strange sense of calm. 
On a bike you just need to avoid the very slightly raised curbs. My brother has had an off on them in the wet.

Its pretty good. The curbs are dodgy as they are slightly raised. Its no good for filtering on the bike in heavy traffic, but I certainly prefer it. Some locals think its made the traffic worse, but I think it flows better.

Been over that way a few times lately and I'm not sure about it, seemed like a lot of confusion and mild chaos to me, looks pretty though
