Passed, but still some brush up would be useful. Had 40 mins left on the clock for the test. Speed awareness course incoming 😂

Incorrect ones

Puffin crossing light sequences
Road positioning turning left
Parking at night on a 40 mph or faster road
6 points within 2 years of passing test
When are you allowed to wait on yellow grid markings
Why did the lorry driver start turning late

45/50. Many badly worded and open to interpretation. I thought the question on light sequence for a puffin crossing was from the ped's point of view. It didn't specify!
Another one was "You're driving along a quiet motorway. Which advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) is most likely to help you?" I put speed assist, but apparently I should have put lane departure warning. I plain disagree. It asked what would help me!

I failed, got 40 out of 50.
Considering that I took my test 25 years ago, then never drove, I'm happy with that!

Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
I got 44/50. But I thought I do worse. Most of the time I just picked the one answer that wasn't patently stupid.

64 outof 50 right

of the ones I "got wrong"
1 I misread
1 I reckon 2 were not only right but required - but you could only select one and I selected the wrong one
1 I totally disagree with - the one saying why did the lorry turn late
OK - lorries need more room - but there was a cyclist level with the rear wheels so avoiding running him over was more important
Another I reckon I was right - can;t remember why

so morally I reckon 50 out of 50

quite similar to a Health and safety test I had to do recently for my AgeUK stuff
I submitted a report on it to the manager at a meeting the next day and she was "WOW - you are completely right - but no-one has ever done that before"
Maybe I was a teacher for a bit too long???

One of my answers was the same wrong one (lorry turning) as @ebikeerwidnes , for the same reason.

Another was the colour of the reflective studs between a slip road and motorway, which I just couldn't remember and picked the wrong one.

This is the problem with on line form based tests

unless they think about every possible answer and ways of thinking
then people can be right - but get marked wrong

this is not new - we did a whole lesson on it when I was training to be a teacher - and that was well over 20 years ago

I think my son did a lot of these types of tests before he sat his HGV theory, then practical. He aced the real tests, and his practical, which is really hard. He did do, as a kid, way too many hours playing truck driving/farm sim programmes. Reversing was a doddle.

He drives massive trucks now and loves it.
