Used to love cheat! And monopoly. And...what's that one with the sticks and the marbles?

Cheat was great, especially with two packs.

Squares game is good fun. When you get a square you have to go again and often start of the opponent on another run so dont make the last squares by missing the last one and leaving a double square- you give two away but get the next lot.

Spirograph was a bit of a bore. But in teenage years it took on a new meaning...

What about Beetle? You don't need all the plastic twiddley bits, you could draw it. throw the dice - Six for a body, was it five for the head, four for the legs......

You can play it as Bicycle, as well. Roll a six for a frame to start, the it's something like 5 for front fork, 4 for a wheel (must have fork first for front wheel), 3 for saddle, 2 for bars, 1 for pedals.

i had a huge piece of card in the car, marked 1-999 and used to mark them off as i saw the numbers in car number plates. good old days
