I'm sure there's bound to be a club open for a few drinks at 5 am, before you can find a Weatherspoons to open up at 9 am, before rolling across to HPC.

Strangely enough, as I popped into Wetherspoons on Xmas Eve to give the turkey its last pint, a typically Welling-type couple were kicking off at the manager for not being open at 8am. His, very reasonable I thought, response of "For god's sake luv, it's Xmas Eve. You have another 14 hours of drinking time to get p*****d" didn't really allay their concerns. Ah, Xmas. Got to love it really.
