Pre Vuelta Thread

With the announcement that Cadel will miss the Vuelta as he has not recovered from the injury sustained at the post Tour party. Menchov pulling out also, is the Vuelta in danger of becoming a damp squib its not really got the clout of the Giro and obviously the Tour.

Although ASO now have a piece of the pie it may be some time before we see any major changes.

What did Evans have to celebrate? Second again, with an anonymous team! Seems the Vuelta will be better for his absence! Shame about Menchov though, he's a trier!!

It's a pity Evans and Menchov are out but there are still some big names and teams who will be there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
