All standard Japanese motor cycles, going back more than 30 years, are designed to run on unleaded.

My F2 ran quite happily on unleaded from supermarket. The only time I didn't use supermarket fuel is when I ran out on track days.

I run premium fuel about every 4th or 5th tank as opposed to el-cheapo supermarket fuel as it's supposed to help keep the injectors cleaner and in better health (as recommended by Honest John).
In the C8 diesel I found a small MPG improvement and felt it ran a bit smoother. But never felt the cost increase worth the benefit. However fuel being much much cheaper now it might make more sense.
I've just put the first tankful of premium diesel in the Dacia so it's too early to tell.
No harm in trying.

For some (petrol) cars yes, others no. The dumb daily driver stuff just gets standard petrol and weekend stuff gets higher octane. But ibdrive very, very little. With diesel I plonk anything in.

They did a feature on it on a TV show a couple of years ago. In a normal family car it makes no noticeable difference.
In a high performance car, it can show a slight improvement. But you'd struggle to get any benefit from it in everyday driving.
So, depends what you drive and how you drive it.
I've tried running my 1.6 HDi Citroen on Shell V-Power Nitro+ (now there is a marketing name) and can honestly say I saw no difference whatsoever, other than the fact it cost me an extra few quid a tank full.

And next year they'll call it shell v power nitro plus extra.

Following year super plus extra. Kinda like those Gillette blades; in convinced in a few years they have 20 blades.

I ran my Mustang, when I had it, on 'super' from time to time. I had two ECU programs for it, one slightly tweeked stock program to suit UK running than ran on 95 RON, and a performance tuned one for use with 'super'.

Used to switch between them every now and again just for the heck of it.
