DCLane

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
My youngest turns 9 in a couple of weeks and I'm stuck for a present(s). First thoughts are a Ferrari passenger ride: http://www.daystoamaze.co.uk/pages/product410.tpl

However, I'm stuck on other stuff. He's a reader, so books would go down well but he also wants to see stuff in the flash.

A mid-August event would be great to keep him occupied in the summer holidays. Harewood Hillclimb might be different: http://www.harewoodhill.com/

TVR's don't seem to interest him though! My local garage, who work on my Saab, are also TVR/Lotus specialists and the garage was full of them ... he wasn't too interested.

Get him a ride in one of these bad boys.

Also, get him to drive to Rhyll........

There used to be a retail shop unit in Gateshead where a group of Scalextrix Club grown-ups built a fantastic Scalextrix layout where you could have children's parties using their 6 lane set-up. The dads used to be itching to have a go.....
