i am trying to remove a mt500 bottom bracket from a cube attain sl frame.
I am trying to use the park tool bb removal tool bbt 90.3. It goes in and clicks into place but when I hammer it out it pops out through the bearing without actually removing it. The only thing that came out were the two plastic covers but bb stays in.
I have tried bending the tool out more so it fits tighter but to no avail.
Any advice please.

It sounds like the bearings have sealed themselves in place good and proper. Push down on the tool a bit, then smack it good and hard with a rubber mallet.

There is no point in smacking a drift with a rubber mallet.

Depends how big the rubber maul is ^_^
