Preview is high rather than wide.

Placing the cursor over a thread title opens a preview that is too high and one has to re position the screen if the thread is in the top half to read the preview. In the old software the preview was wider with fewer lines and very easy to read.

What software (OS and browser) and what style are you using?

It seems to work fine for me, with Win7 and either Firefox or IE on any of the styles.

I get that too on Opera 11.52 and Firefox 8.0.

What MOAB means is that the hover pop-up preview box always pops upwards from the thread title which puts it out of sight when the thread title is high in the window. Ideally, it would pop-up below the thread title if above would be out of sight.

Browser = Firefox OS = Ubuntu

I've made the box wider and reduced the length of the preview by 50 characters - should reduce the height a little.

It doesn't auto-sense the top of the browser window though so that's just something you'll have to get used to.

Thanks for that, it is an improvement...... any chance of making it a little wider still (there is plenty of room)
