Good Evening All

I have read the pedal guide which was really helpful and i have been looking around for an entry level pedal and shoe combination. My search has so far taken me to..

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/shimano-pd-r540-spd-sl-sport-pedals/

with

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/dhb-r10-road-cycling-shoe/

It is a total of £67 for the two and from reading the reviews it appears to be the best deal at the moment.

My question is three fold..

1. These should work together? The pedals are SPD-SL and the shoes state that they will fit these pedals
2. Is this a sensible introduction?
3. I have read that sizes can sometimes be different with these shoes. If anyone has any experience with this particular brand would be good to share experiences.

Thanks in advance.

Cycling shoes vary a lot in sizes, especially from normal shoe sizes. You should go to a LBS and try on various shoes. Some will come up narrow, and others too big or small.
