im a little tea pot
Hi Guys

i ordered some flowers through interflora yesterday for same day delivery, cut off was 3 pm and the order was put through at 2:25. go a call after 3 saying they couldnt deliver it yesterday and would deliver it first thing today, called my friend and still nothing!

do you reckon this email is ok that ive sent them? for £50 worth of flowers im a bit upset to say the least!

Dear Sirs
I am severely disappointed in your company following the order for flowers I placed Yesterday for same day delivery before the cut off time of 3PM
As you will see the order was placed and paid for at 2:25 PM, giving plenty of time before the 3pm deadline. I have also then paid for the delivery to be the same day! I then had an email and a voicemail advising the flowers would be delivered as a matter of urgency today, these have still not arrived! Not only am I not getting a service I have paid for, the follow up promises made have not been followed through!

The items where ordered in time for same day delivery, therefore I expected same day delivery not a full 24 hour wait for items that should arrive within 4!

I need an urgent update on the progress of the order as my friend who is due to take receipt of the flowers has just come out of hospital and will not be avaliable after 4 pm today or over the weekend to take collection of the flowers!

As the service I have paid for has not been provided I invite you to offer compensation for my lost time and the fact that a lovely surprise for my unwell friend has had to be ruined by me having to phone her asking if she has had the flowers yet!

I await your urgent response.

If ordering by a set time for sameday delivery is what they advertise, then they accept your order, that is a contract.
So, I think you ought to let them know you are aware of the 'contract' they entered into with you, & take it from there.
