Has anyone else experienced a problem where Google searches result in Internet Explorer displaying the HTML code rather than the webpage itself? I've found a work-around by disabling the "Google Dictionary Compression sdch" Add-On. Very strange indeed, anyone any ideas what's going on here?

Google is ok for me. Just an idea - but clear out cookies and cache, close and reopen and see if its still happening.

Dunno. Why not use Firefox instead of IE? Or Google Chrome, which is faster than either.

I've never had any problems with Firefox or Chrome displaying raw html. Are you sure you haven't accidentally set an IE option to 'view source'?

[If I find browser settings have mysteriously changed, the first thing I do is run my Kaspersky anti-virus and de-wormer.]

There's been a lot of updates from Microsoft recently some of which have been directly related to IE problems. Wouldn't surprise me if one of these caused an incompatibility issue with the Google Ad-On.

Well whatever the incompatibility, either Microsoft or Google have fixed it because it all works again.
