Bayern Munich, 1999 Champions League Final.

The Toronto Maple Leafs versus the Boston Bruins -- TO were 3-0 up with 3 minutes to play in the last period -- I went upstairs to make food, came back down and they'd lost 4-3

Here for rides.
Much as it pains me to say - Northampton Saints v Leinster in the 2011 European cup final. Saints leading 22 - 6 at half time and looking to be cruising to a win. In the second half Johnny Sexton wins the game single handed as Leinster run out 22 - 33 winners .... it was a long, quite journey home from Cardiff that night ...
I was there. As a semi-neutral English Munster fan. The silence in the toilets at half-time was deafening. Second half was jaw on the floor stuff. My Leinster mates went mental.

Pompous little fellow wasn't he. I find many CEOs are of similar nature.

But he could do a fair impression of Brian Johnson/AC-DC

Keith Reynolds in the 1989 Milk Race, in the leader's jersey on the last day, not paying sufficient attention to the front of the race, Brian Walton of 7-Eleven snaffled the win. Reynolds came 2nd.

Well, Teresa May has messed things up, turned a certain victory into a worse position than she started out with...

And this has got me thinking. Who else has snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in such a spectacular manner?
No one. Not in my lifetime. It's been genuinely astonishing.
