There's no doubt, cycling is growing in Russia albeit from a small base.

Spotted these two just a few hundred yards from my hotel ...

Not only that, today by a new apartment comes I spotted the first shared-use cycle paths too.
Good ole Mr Putin .....

They had those in Berlin. I kept getting shouted at by cyclist for being in the way.

It's a tough life on the 'road' ....

Ha ha. Since when was traveling for work anything other than tough? I did it for 40 years, Middle East, Europe, Turkey, N Africa, E Europe, Caribbean and it was almost always hard work!! Only those who didn't do it ever think we travelers universally have a good time!
