My 4 1/2 year old son can now ride his bike without stabilizers!

I'd previously taken the pedals off to get him used to balance and steering without having to worry about pedaling, which was fine. Did that for about 4 sessions of 40 minutes.

Then put the pedals back on and he got it immediately. Amazing!

He still has trouble starting off and he can't really do tight corners, but that won't take long.

So happy.

Congrats, I bet he is so proud of himself!

It won't be long till you will be cycling alongside each other on epic excursions.

Well done to little benb and his dad  . It's what being a dad is all about, priceless.

In 20 to 30 years you won't remember all the things you have bought or owned and you will have forgotten a great deal about so much that doesn't matter, but this is one of the things you will always remember

Bless! He looks so chuffed with himself. Bet you were grinning just as much watching him.
My youngest took a long time to master starting off herself, and even now she can only do it right foot first - but I'm a bit like that myself lol.
