i have a PS3 but have yet to take it online, a bit put off after trying the online stuff on my mates xbox 360 but it gets a bit annoying getting killed by kids shouting n00b at me all the time!

Lol - I played Rainbow 6: Vegas 2 on-line a while back and got my arse well and truly kicked by 5 year olds (probably). The only saving grace was that it was a team game so I did my bit by picking off people using a sniper rifle rather than full-on fighting at close quarters which I suck at on most of these games. Great laugh though!!

Just run downstairs, switched on my PS3 and confirmed you as a friend, isn't this exciting! You've got more trophies than me on Burnout, I'm obviously going to have to get in a bit more practice before Tuesday!

Yay - linked up with Plax for a quick session (cue Fnaar) and had a blast.

I opened up the game for anyone to join and we got 2 others in there for some racing... good laugh until my connection died on me.

I still really need to learn the map a bit more. One race we had (just Plax and myself) was from the NE of the map to the SW... it took over 6mins when I think it should have taken about 2.5 - lol - both of us went completely bizarre ways to get there and ended up taking wrong turns etc. Most amusing!

Told you I was rubbish, and for some reason after the first races, the second race reverted me to a different car and it looked like I wasn't in the race (mileage to checkpoint/end never showed up and it said I was in 1st place when we all know I clearly wasn't!). I wouldn't say you were rubbish... but your choice of car for a race was slightly bizarre. Yes, when I tried to knock you off the road I ended up crashing my own car as yours was like a tank... but then still left you standing as my car was about 1.5 times faster.

When you picked a similar car you were holding your own... as both of us seem to struggle steering whilst "glancing" at the map (usually the cause of me crashing!).

The Olympus. Yes, it was like a tank - literally just bashed any traffic out of the way! Slight downside was it was rather, ahem, slow! Would be good in a Marked Man or Road Rage event though!

Never rated Paradise, thought the earlier versions were better. One of my friends has constantly bugged me to play it on XBOX live.

It's not a fantastic game, per se... but is a bit of a laugh when a few of you link up online. I have enjoyed playing the game in its own right, but don't think I'll be hooked on it for ages (not like I was with GTA IV).

Saw it today in Blockbusters in the pre-owned section - 2 for £20 or £12.95 each. Got mine of play.com for £8.50 so it's not expensive nowadays.

If you do get it then drop me a line and I'll add you to the list. We had myself, Plax, 3 of my mates from work and a mate of one of them on tonight (although 2 of them had issues with their connection dropping out) and had a blast.
