Nah, no need to bother with a headset... just sounds like 9 year olds having a helium balloon party when they talk using those things... I just mute the sound on them during the game anyway - no need for them in Burnout.

Just come along, bring a scrappy vehicle and let the good times roll (and crash).

Edit - no game next Tues for me though as it's Manc Velodrome session!!! Yay!!

Hey hey! Good man. Just let me know your PSN username
and I'll add you to my Friends list, then next time we play (probably Tuesday) I can send an invitation to you and you can join the mayhem.:biggrin:

What time do you usually play? (I may have to sweet talk SWIMBO into letting me have the TV for a bit )

Cheers,

SWIMBO? She Who Inherantly Must Be Obeyed?:biggrin:

We kick off around 8pm. Not sure who will host it but whenever I get in I can then invite you.

As for having the TV 'for a bit'... don't think it works like that... we start off and then next thing you know it's way past bedtime and you haven't seen the Wife for a few hours. Well, that's what happens in our house!

Fortunately she can sit in bed and watch the TV up there (and it has Freeview too) so she's happy(ish).:biggrin:

PS - Like the username!:biggrin::biggrin:

Lol - nice one. Did you have to invent some reason, or just explain that you were going to demolish some cars on-line in the name of fun?;)

Enjoyed the game tonight, but I think it just went to prove that I'm officially crap at Burnout ...

I just can't seem to get my head around the map thingy. It would be fine if the map rotated as you turned your vehicle, but having to keep thinking back-to-front and sideways on just messes with my head - so much so I was whooping when I got last place in the race ... I actually managed to finish one ...

Come on lads (and lasses), share some tips with a newbie.

Cheers,
Shaun

Well, you do get used to it, but I also find the map disorienting - I thought that was just because I was a girlie!

Tip though, if it is a race you'll see a marker on the top centre of the screen with the number of miles to the next checkpoint/turn. If you noticed the road name of the next road you need to turn off at will flash at the top left/right when your next turn is coming up. I tend to mainly ignore the map and just go off this. Works for me most of the time!

Lol - the map is the Devil's work!!

I usually glance at it, then look back to find that a Bus has appeared in front of me and I'm about to wipeout against it, or a wall. I am getting a bit better at it, but still struggle at speed to figure out the left/right when heading in different directions.

Good session last night, unfortunately I couldn't seem to connect to the "main" game so Shaun and myself had a few races/battles, then 2 of my work colleagues joined us at about 10.30pm for a few races and some severe 4-way-battles.

Mucho enjoyment! B):biggrin::biggrin:
