Also, how abouts Haze?

You know, the GREATEST first person shooter EVER MADE?

HAZE!
I have Haze... haven't actually played it though as it looked pretty crap (it was bundled with 2 other games which I bought off eBay).... do I sense some sarcasm in your post... or is it actually an okay game?

I couldn't possibly comment on the impartiality and sentiment of my above post, due to having worked on it ;)

Say what you want about Haze - and many people have said a lot! One thing that cannot be denied is that the sound design is absolutely exceptional. Shut up it's great. I said shut up!

I've tried playing Haze. I rented it from LoveFilm. I confess it wasn't to my taste.

I have the following games capable of multiplayer if anyone has them and is interested (along with Burnout of course);

Grand Theft Auto IV
Call of Duty 4, Modern Warfare
Legends of Wreslemania
Medal of Honor Airborne
Resistance Fall of Man
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue
Ghostbusters

I'm rubbish at them all.

I was so looking forward to Haze, the company that made all the timesplitters game, couldnt make a bad game surely...
Was a little dissapointed when I heard the doors were bolted at Free Radical Design.
So if you worked on Haze are you lucky enough to be working on Crysis 2 I cant wait for that. PC, 360 OR PS3 thats the question.

pc is the answer I reckon.

No I jumped ship to nearby Eurocom a few weeks before they went bust. Not working on anything nearly as glamourous as Crysis here! Well, apart from that Goldeneye remake ... there is an irony there ;)

Is Dr Doak going to be in the remake?

You're probably too young to have been involved in that. Did you meet anyone who was still pissed of by him putting himself in the game?

I am indeed too young, although I still get people asking me if I was. I was 16 when that game came out, and I like to think I look younger than my years!

I don't recall that anyone was pissed off with him being in the game - I believe most of the staff who worked on it were in it in some fashion. Fortunately now facial scanning has moved on a fair bit, and although we're only dealing with the power of the Wii, hopefully I should be quite recognisable in my (to be confirmed) role in the remake! I'm still holding out for the guy on the toilet. Or Bond.

Also I was dissapointed that when I started working at FRD Dave Doak didn't pop on a lab coat and hand me my key card!

Not long now. Anyway, what is wrong with GT5 prologue? I'd have used that as an excuse to buy a PS3 years ago!

Too short, not enough cars, not enough tracks. :-(

Can't wait for GT5, really can't. It's been so long coming. My fave bit of GT's is the rally sections, which tend to be ace so looking forward to new courses.

Shut up about GT5 gnnnnnnnnn oh man can't wait.

Those fancy Logitec steering wheels - they need to be clamped to something, right? You can't just put them on your lap whilst sitting on the sofa?

Ye can, but they don't really work great unless you're tensing your leg muscles (but perhaps it then makes 'driving' more realistic!)
